It’s that time of year! And once again I am happy to be offering Modern School Mini sessions! With each passing year, I am always amazed at how our children are changing and growing crazy fast! And these Modern School Minis are a perfect way to capture your children just as they are, right now, in this season.

What exactly are Modern School Photos?

Glad you asked! Gone are the stiff, posed, and busy backgrounds of the more typical school photos we’ve come to know. These Modern School photo sessions aim to capture your child, just as they are. A classic black backdrop brings the focus to your child, letting their personality shine through.

*New for Spring* (only) simple gray and fun pink backdrops give a modern spring twist, but let your child’s personality still be the focus!

Sessions are kept short, but still allow us to capture your child in a fun and natural way. We understand not all kids want to give a smile, and that’s OK! No smile will ever be forced, and children are encouraged to be themselves!

When and Where will these be held?

These will be held at a local home studio in Round Rock on Sunday September 24th. Address will be sent to participants.

What is the cost and what all does it include?

$25 reserves your time, and will be credited towards your purchase of digitals and prints. Each 10 minute time slot can accommodate up to 2 siblings. For more than 2 siblings, please choose two consecutive time slots when booking.

*$25 session fee is non-refundable, but can be used towards another pop up photo day, in case of illness or cancellation.

Note: these mini sessions are for children only. This is not a family session.

What should my child wear?

Children are welcome to wear what they are most comfortable in. Avoiding neon colors and any loud graphics is recommended, but otherwise they are welcome to express themselves!

How will I receive my photos?

Within 2-4 weeks of Photo Day, you will receive a link to your online photo gallery via email. There will be 2-5 images of each child, in BOTH color and black and white. You will have a week to view the gallery and purchase your photos. I offer a variety of print collections, digitals, and a-la-carte items to suit everyones needs. Your $25 session fee is a credit to use towards your final print/digital purchase.

What Safety precautions and measures are you taking?

Everyones health and safety are absolutely important! I am fully vaccinated, and will utilize minimal-touch posing as much as possible. For younger children, a parent/caregiver might be needed to assist a bit. There will be a table with hand sanitizer available for all to use. I do ask that you monitor you and your families health prior to Photo Day, as I will be doing as well.
